Overview of EXPIScore Rating System
The EXPIScore rating system awards three to six stars (each explained further below) to nominated buildings and developments, which demonstrate commitment to people's needs, preferences and aspirations, as reflected in EXPIScore's comprehensive rating criteria.
EXPIScore's rating criteria are informed by detailed consumer surveys, which explore consumers' perspectives on the myriad of elements that shape their experience of a building, across building design and amenities, to management and operations (including occupant management), and more. These surveys are conducted in each geographic market, and for specific real estate asset classes, to ensure that EXPIScore's rating criteria consider local culture and preferences, as well as consumers' needs specific to a given asset class. The rating criteria are also updated based on regular consumers surveys conducted every two to three years, to reflect the latest consumer expectations.

Each nominated building or development receives a customer experience score (out of 100), which determines the star rating it is eligible for. The customer experience score is an output of EXPIScore's proprietary model, which EXPIScore's qualified assessors use to rate the nominated property or development against EXPIScore's rating criteria.
EXPIScore's qualified assessors are carefully selected - typically with decades of experience in a relevant field, or specialised skills relevant to the assessment.
Currently, EXPIScore is available in two categories: EXPIScore: LIVE for residential buildings and developments - including serviced apartments, and EXPIScore: WORK for office buildings and developments, in Singapore - with plans to expand across other asset classes and geographic markets.
