In addition to a stellar research track record, Marigold brings more than 15 years' industry experience with global advertising & media agencies, renowned hospitality brands, Big 4 consulting firms, and large real estate corporations.
In leading EXPI Plus, Marigold is supported by Peter Holland - a highly respected Residential, Commercial, Hospitality & Mixed-use expert in the real estate industry.
Dr. Marigold Kimura
Founder & CEO
Dr. Marigold Kimura, PhD is a world-leading expert on human-centric customer experience in buildings. After more than 15 years across experiential marketing and real estate, Dr. Marigold founded EXPI Plus, with advisory support from Peter Holland.
Dr. Marigold began her career developing experiential marketing strategies for global consumer and hospitality brands. During this time, she grew to appreciate the central role of consumer insights in designing immersive, personalised, and impactful experiences.
Dr. Marigold subsequently transitioned into the real estate industry, where she has worked across research & advisory and real estate development management with large reputable corporations.
Whilst working in the real estate industry, she discovered growing interest in adopting a more human-centric approach to designing and delivering buildings. Hence in 2019, Dr. Marigold set out to deepen her expertise in this area through a 5-year PhD at the University of Melbourne.

Peter Holland

Peter is a highly respected Residential, Commercial, Hospitality & Mixed-use expert in the real estate industry.
Over more than 40 years, Peter has advised renowned developers, institutional real estate owners, and retail and hospitality brands across the globe (including Singapore), on how to optimise the performance of their mixed-use projects and properties.
Originally trained as an architect and later in Real Estate Economics at Harvard University, Peter brings a very good understanding of buildings and the real estate environment.
He is also a regular contributor, speaker and panel member at global conferences on urban development. Peter has sat on many real estate awards jury panels and for 2019-21 was Chair of the ULI Asia Pacific Awards for Excellence Program.
Peter's work has also involved market research, mixed use precinct strategy development, and financial analysis for large complex projects around the globe.
